ME

Hello! And thank you for finding me.

I am Tom, an artist and writer living in Lytham by the Biscuit Tin Windmill.

I orginally had plans on becoming the next Roald Dahl when I wrote my first book 'Brain The Size A Planet' about a very clever child. Then I wrote 'Colin of Cumbria & His Calculating Campervan' about an equally clever adult.

What went right/wrong was this. In my search to find a Quentin Blake style artist to illustrate my books, I got the biggest surprise when I discovered I could do this myself.

All hand drawn, but not with messy acrylic paint as I use the miracle of an electronic pencil.

So once I drew the pretty windmill next door, everybody on their social networks wanted me to draw their house or shop even their dog.

Being able to illustrate as my job is pure pleasure, and to see the happiness on my customer's faces too.

The writing will of course return, but first the electric chemistry of art, as I create character with each picture and can always bring the most ordinary everyday things to life.

I get to touch people's lives with what I do.

xx Tom
